Zachary Louis Latour, 37, passed away on Jan. 10, 2025, in New Brighton, PA. Born on April 18, 1987, Zack was known for his caring nature, humor, and personable demeanor, endearing him to all who knew him. He graduated from Valley High School in New Kensington, where he formed many lasting friendships. Zack's passion for the outdoors was evident through his love for fishing, hiking, and kayaking. He also enjoyed cooking and watching sports, creating memorable experiences with family and friends. Zack is lovingly remembered by his mother, Cheryl Latour (Albert Elias); stepparents, Donna Latour and Jim Lloyd (Jennifer); and his sisters, Vanessa (Anthony Rossi) and Hannah (Derek Faltot). He also leaves behind his stepbrother, Morgan Lloyd; maternal grandmother, Laura "Elaine" Schantz; aunts, Sandy Grsetic and Kim Beckett (Ray Grum); and uncles, Terry Latour (Leslie), Ron Beckett (Amparo), and Mark Beckett (Michaelene). His life was enriched by his nieces, Addelyn Rossi and Logan Faltot; and nephew, Jonah Rossi. His cherished friend and companion, April Doutt; along with numerous cousins and friends, will also hold his memory dear. Zack was preceded in death by his father, Andrei Latour; paternal grandparents, Armand and Dorothy Latour; maternal grandfather, Ronald W. Beckett; and uncles, Rick Beckett, Armand Latour (Theresa), and Renard Latour. A Celebration of Life is being organized, with details to be shared in due course. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, reflecting Zack's love for animals. This gesture will honor his compassionate spirit and love for all living creatures.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Kinloch Fireman's Club, 915 New York Ave. Lower Burrell, officiated by Pastor Marvin Hill.
