Wayne Emerson Drum Sr., 89, of New Kensington, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, in Allegheny Valley Hospital. He was born March 14, 1934, in Bairdford, to the late William Henry and Mary Viola Bonin Drum. Wayne was a senior lab tech for Alcoa. He served in the USMC and was a veteran of the Korean War. Wayne is a member of the New Kensington Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #533, the American Legion Post 868 and a life member of the VFW Post 92, both of Lower Burrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Smith Drum; son, Daniel Alan Drum; 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Wayne is survived by his significant other, Linda Laurinatis; daughter, Debra Baker; son, Wayne (Tanya) Drum Jr.; sister, Dorothy Drum; extended family, Larry and Pam and their families; 6 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 6:00 PM on Monday, April 10, 2023, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave. New Kensington, 724-337-3325.
