Shirley Jean Dzugan

Shirley Jean Dzugan, 64, of New Kensington, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026, at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township. She was born August 12, 1961, in New Kensington, to the late Michael and Charolette Fish Dzugan Sr. Shirley was employed as a caregiver for Mrs. Linda Thurston (Care at Home) for many years. She loved visiting casinos—particularly the Rivers Casino—and cherished and loved moments with her family and friends, with her grandchildren being her greatest joy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Dzugan. Shirley is survived by her son, Jesse Dzugan; daughter, Angel (John Persse) Myers; sister, Janet (Jay) Chiusano; brother, Michael Dzugan Jr.; grandchildren, Ariana Tuvell and Savannah and Evan Persse; and several nieces and nephews.
