Sherry V. (Redding) Weaver, 68, of Upper Burrell, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 12, 2024, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

She worked as a medical receptionist at the VA Hospital, Russellton Miners Clinics, AVH, and a variety of doctors' offices over the years. Sherry even managed the old Speedy-Mart in Lower Burrell. She often enjoyed a variety of crafts, long drives, watching and driving fast cars, playing the piano, games on her phone, watching the Steelers, and socializing as much as she could. Hoping to help others, even with her passing, Sherry was also an organ donor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Edna (Cappo) Redding; and her siblings, Dave, James, and Edna. Sherry is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joseph A Weaver Jr.; sons, Eric (Tracy) and Adam; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Samantha, and Autumn. Sherry is also survived by her sister, Charlene (Dale) Marks. She will be missed dearly by her dog, Karma.

Sherry requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services.
