Rose Ann Ament, 82, of New Kensington, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born December 5, 1941, in New Kensington, to the late Edwin J. and Tillie Mae Knoll Mohney. Rose Ann is a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, New Kensington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Ament; son, Jack Ament; granddaughter, Alicia Mae Ament; and sisters, Sara Jordan and Diana Lawson. Rose Ann is survived by her children, Anna (Tim) Daugherty, Terry (Debbie) Ament, Jeffrey Ament, Christine Kirkland, Joy (Rick) Debor, Gail Gohn, Roy M. Ament and Lenny (Maggie) Ament; sister, Irene E. Mohney; brother, Edwin (Cheryl) J. Mohney Jr.; 19 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. A Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 890 Stevenson Blvd. New Kensington.
