Robert Terry Woody Sr., 67, of New Kensington, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022, in his home. He was born May 27, 1955, to the late Homer E. and Jeninita L. Jones Woody Sr. Robert was a 1973 graduate of Kiski High School, where he excelled at track, in all fields. He worked for Allegheny Ludlum as a swing grinder and also for Giant Eagle in the deli department. Robert was a great softball player, playing for the Truxall Community, and was an avid pool player, playing multiple times a week most of his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dawn Claiborne. Robert is survived by his wife, Andrea Harter Woody; children, Robert "BJ" Woody II, Ra'Mone Woody and Lisa (Daniel Rodgers) Johnson; siblings, Carl Woody, David Woody, Homer E. (Michelle) Woody Jr., and Anita L. (Jerome McMillan) Cramer; grandchildren, Matthew Horneman, Tony Fahling, Cherish Johnson, Taivon & Drahmiere Woody, Austin Troyan, Elijah Green and Mason Rodgers; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family and friend will be received from 4 to 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2022, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave. New Kensington, 724-337-3325. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 5:00 PM with Reverend Homer E. Woody Jr. officiating. Burial will be private.
