Richard Frank "Rich" Carvin Jr., 63, of New Kensington, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in his home. He was born May 24, 1961, in Natrona Heights. Rich was a 1978 graduate of Valley High School, and enjoyed music, socializing, dancing, football and karaoke. He is a US Navy veteran, who was stationed out of the Brooklyn Shipyard. Rich worked for Alcoa and then later for the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard F. Carvin; and his wife, Trudy Carvin.

Rich is survived by his mother, Dolores "Dee" Mell Grey; sisters, Pam Wurmb and Debbie Haser.

Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7:00 PM, on Monday, February 17, 2025, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. Burial will be private.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Satuirday, February 22, 2025, at the Fox Hotel (Mason's), 240 Washington Blvd. New Kensington.
