Rebecca A. Rogers, 40, of New Kensington, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born March 19, 1983, in New Kensington. Rebecca worked as a COTA for many years at Belair Nursing Home and Harmar Rehabilitation. She also worked at Dutch Girl Cleaners, Lower Burrell. Rebecca is a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, New Kensington, where she was a member of the Choir and also served as an Altar Server. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Hilda Karpinski and Barbara Johnston; and uncle, Mike Karpinski. Rebecca is survived by her parents, Earl and Kimberly (Karpinski) Rogers; brother, Earl A. (Vanessa) Rogers; nephew, Gannon; grandfather, Donald Karpinski; aunt, Pat (Kelly) Volk; uncles, Mike Rogers, Richard Johnston, and Donald (Diane), Robert, Jeffery (Kira) and Joe Karpinski; and numerous cousins. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325.
