Enter obituary information here. Patricia V. 'Pat' Smith, 75, of New Kensington, died Friday, March 24, 2017, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born March 21, 1942, in Gilpin Township, she was a daughter of the late Donald Earl Henry and Stella Jane Brumbaugh Henry Gronski and lived in New Kensington most of her life. Pat enjoyed playing bingo, going to Atlantic City, being on the computer, bowling and making crafts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Ronald and Thomas Smith; stepmother, Betty Henry; sister, Judy Cook; brother, Donald Earl Henry; and daughter-in-law, Amy Smith. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, George Smith Jr.; son, Michael Smith; daughter, Diana (Chris) Robinson; grandchildren, Chuck, David, Timmy, Michael, Josh, Amanda, Amber, Courtney and Michelle; sisters, Connie (Kenny Ross) Bulger, Sandra Brucker, Sondra (Carl) Chronick and Vivian (Richard) Mathabel; also 10 great-grandchildren, stepsisters and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2017, in the JOSEPH J. CARDARO FUNERAL HOME, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017, in the funeral home, with the Rev. Carmen Butler officiating. Private burial will be in Ford City Cemetery, Ford City.
