Michael Dameion Booker Jr., of New Kensington, went home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at the age of 33, on July 4, 2022. He was born November 22, 1988, in Natrona Heights and was a welder by trade in Turtle Creek. Michael was a member of King's Deliverance Church, Vandergrift and grew in his faith. During his 8-year incarceration, he deepened his faith in Christ which was cultivated by his fellowship with the men he was serving time with. Michael continued to cultivate his faith with Christian Fellowship which was integral to his journey to spiritual and physical freedom. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Carol Arb and Gerri Macura. Michael is survived by his mother, Lorie (Randall) Grant; father, Michael (Jennifer) Booker Sr.; grandparents, Evelyn Booker, John Macura, Joe Marshall and Marguerite Grant; siblings, Leree, John, Brandon, Brianna, Gabriel, Alexis, Terrence and Dameion Booker, Sydney and Aaliyah Grant, and Brittnee Burke; fiancé, Jessica Holmes, who was the love of his life; 3 children, Kaysen, Kolsen & Jamisen, who were the apple of his eye; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 10, 2022, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave, New Kensington, 724-337-3325. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 11, 2022, in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
