Merrily L. McKelvey

Merrily L. McKelvey, 80, of New Kensington, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in Allegheny Valley Hospital. She was born on December 30, 1945, in Springdale, to the late Henry and Edna Eckstrom Evans. Merrily was a graduate of Ken Hi in the class of 1964. She was employed for Unifirst for 20 years before retiring from the Shipping Department in 2008. Merrily enjoyed reading, sewing and crocheting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Renn A. McKelvey; daughter, Sandy Erb; grandson, Michael Smith; and sister, Hilda Karpinski. Merrily is survived by her son, Edward Erb; brother, Robert (Chris) Evans; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and niece, Kimberly Rogers.
