Marsha Louise Naamy, 88, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 21, 2026, in UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. She was born April 7, 1938, in New Kensington as the beloved daughter of James “Champ” and Rose Bettor Naamy. Both of whom preceded her in death. An only child, Marsha was cherished by her devoted parents and carried their love with her throughout her life. From an early age, she had a flair for fashion, makeup and glamour, always enjoying the latest designer clothing and presenting herself with style. Marsha built a career as an executive assistant, beginning with Alcoa in Pittsburgh and later working with various companies in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. Holidays were especially meaningful to Marsha. She loved decorating, cooking, and gathering family together, often welcoming them with her famous blue cheese ball appetizer and cherished Syrian dishes. Marsha was a loving Godmother to Yvette Dirani and Susan (Pallone) Fellner. In her later years, she enjoyed playing the lottery, reminiscing about San Francisco’s beautiful weather, and asking anyone traveling to bring back See’s candy, which she believed tasted best when made fresh in the cool San Francisco air. Marsha will be missed by her many cousins and by all who knew and loved her. Family and friends are invited to attend Trisagion Prayers at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lower Burrell, with Father Justin Mokhiber from St. George Orthodox Church officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, New Kensington, 724-337-3325. Contributions in Marsha’s honor may be made to St. George Orthodox Church, 1150 Leishman Ave., New Kensington, PA 15068. www.cardarofuneralhome.com
