Margaret N. Lecce, 86, of Arnold, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, in her home. She was born March 2, 1935, in Freeport to the late Donald & Elizna Jordon Hartman. Margaret was a 1953 graduate of Freeport High School. She worked for the National Tea Company for 12 years and was a self-employed beautician working from home. Margaret enjoyed bowling, was an avid snow skier and was a member of Allegheny Valley Church of God, New Kensington, and the New Kensington Eagles, Aerie 533, where she was a member of the dart league. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Leece; and sisters, Genieve Klingensmith, Dorothy Hartman, Norma Jean Glenn and Donna Beiter. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Debra Lecce; sisters, Freda Bowman and Carol Ann Denale; granddaughter, Katherine Lewis Rummel; grandons, Jadon Redman; niece, Pamela Weitzel; great nieces, Elizabeth "Bo", Nikki and Jamie; and several other nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in the funeral home with Reverend Carmen Butler officiating. Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
