Lorrie Jean Lynam, 61, of New Kensington, was called home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, January 13, 2023, in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born January 2, 1962, in Irwin. Lorrie attended Evangel Heights in Sarver and also Lazarus Tomb Coffee House in Arnold. She was on dialysis for 44 years of her life, making her the record holder for longest number of years on dialysis. Lorrie was a true fighter, never giving up and carrying her own cross. She enjoyed cooking, eating, singing and dancing. She was preceded in death by her mother, Petra Vasquez; granddaughter, Auriana Green; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Lorrie is survived by her father, Lawrence Meyer, Sr.; husband of 26 years, Patrick Lynam; daughter, Launa (Steven) Ross; stepdaughters, Mandi Piroch and Shayla Lynam; brother, Lawrence Meyer Jr.; grandchildren Unique, Steven Jr., Auna'lei, Ethan, Ava, Elyse and Dillon; great grandchildren, Ace'ah and Jos'auri; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 20, 2023, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. Additional visitation will be from 9:45 to 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2023, in the funeral home at which time a funeral service will be held with Reverend Dan Corfield officiating.
