Jean E. "Frenchie" Berube, 79, of New Kensington, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, in his home. He was born April 3, 1944, in Montreal, Canada. Frenchie resided in the Florida Keys before he came to Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Allegheny Valley Church of God. Frenchie enjoyed picnics with family and friends and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. He was a diehard hockey fan especially for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He had many jobs that included dishwasher and jitney driver.

Frenchie is survived by his friend of many years, Cindy (Lewis) Smith.

Family and friends are welcomed to attend a Homecoming for Frenchie from 5 to 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Allegheny Valley Church of God, 216 Catalpa St., New Kensington, with Reverend Carmen Butler officiating.
