Janice Raney, 75, of Arnold, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, in her home. She was born April 11, 1946, in Etna to the late Joseph and Barbara Rozman Grabowksi. Janice was employed for New Kensington/Arnold School District in the cafeteria. She enjoyed visiting casinos and loved watching the Steeler's games. Janice was a member if Mount St. Peter Church, New Kensington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Joe Raney; and brother, Joseph (Margie) Grabowski. Janice is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Judith) Raney and Jill (Matt) Roberts; brother, Robert (Sue) Grabowski; sister, Joan (Mike) Leggens; grandchildren, Matthew Jr. and Dylan Roberts, and Zachary Raney; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9:00 PM on Thursday, January 20, 20222, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave. New Kensington, 724-337-3325. Parting prayers will be at 9:30 AM on Friday, January 21, 2022, in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Mount St. Peter Church, New Kensington.
