Jacqueline "Jackie" Brake Barnes, 39, of New Kensington, passed away February 7, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 16, 1982, in Natrona Heights. Jackie was a graduate of Valley High School in the class of 2000 and was employed as a nurse for UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and her pets, Annie and Jack. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry R. Brake. Jackie is survived by her son, Keyshaun Barnes; mother, Michelle Crivaro Wade; sisters, Jessica and Joanna. Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 11, 2022, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM on Saturday, February 12, 2022, in the funeral home with Reverend Carmen Butler officiating. Burial will be private in St. Mary Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
