Jacqueline Ann "Jackie" Barkowski, 65, of Lower Burrell, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025. She was born February 9, 1959, in New Kensington, to the late Thomas and Carolyn Fitch Pierce. Jackie was a graduate of Lower Burrell High School and then earned her cosmetology license becoming a stylist for Talk of the Town. Later, she was a caregiver till she retired. Jackie was always the life of the party and had never met a stranger. She attended St. Joseph Church, New Kensington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Kenny Barkowski; brother, Tommy Pierce; and grandson, Charlie Stanley. Jackie is survived by her daughter, Emily (William) Stanley; son, Jacob Barkowski; sister Teri (Terry) Schreckengost; 2 grandchildren who lovingly called her Fra Fra, Billy and Elliott; nieces and nephews who referred to her lovingly as Aunt Jack, Andy, Ben, Tommy, Tony, Chris, Alexis and Mallory; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
