Illene T. Konarzewski, 94, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 27, 2022, in The Willows, Presbyterian Senior Care, Oakmont. She was born June 17, 1928, in New Kensington, to the late Stanley & Mary Pogorzelski Konarzewski. Illene previously worked for the VA on Leechfarm Road, as a secretary, for 30 years, retiring in 1985. She is a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church, New Kensington, where she was also a member of the choir and the Christian Mothers. Illene was also a member of the Polish Falcons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Renetta Baron, Bernadette Hamilton and MaryAnn Konarzewski. Illene is survived by her nephew, Joseph (Janet) Baron; great niece, Jessica (George) Trout; great nephew, Matthew (Brandi) Baron; great-great nephews, Lincoln Trout and Macklen Baron

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 2, 2022, in St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church, New Kensington.
