Howard A. "Buddy" Adams, Jr., 91, of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born July 1, 1933, in Williamstown to the late Howard A. and Eva Clark Watkeys Adams Sr. Buddy was a graduate of Williamstown High School and was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War. He was employed by Bell Atlantic which then became AT&T. Buddy was a life member of the American Legion Post 239 and the VFW Post 6497, both in Williamstown. He was a member of the previous Wesley United Methodist Church, Wiconisco, and was a previous Cub and Boy Scout leader for many years. Buddy enjoyed gardening, traveling, and camping.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 55 years, Betty C. Wasson Adams; and a sister, Ruth Lubold. Buddy is survived by his second wife, Brenda Wolfgang Jones, and her son, Derek (Karla) Jones; nieces, Bonnie (Tim) McGuire and Lori (Joe) Cardaro; and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends will be received from 4–6:00 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2024, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 6:00 PM in the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Cooper officiating.

Buddy will be laid to rest privately with Betty in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
