Geraldine "Gerri" Macura, 69, of Lower Burrell, formerly of Arnold, passed away, Saturday, November 6, 2021, in Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights. She was born June 10, 1952, in Natrona Heights, to the late Louis & Anna Stewart Rezak. Gerri was a 1971 graduate of Highlands High School and then attended Community College of Pittsburgh, receiving a degree in Nursing. She worked at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh, for over 22 years. Gerri also helped pioneer Harmar Village, Cheswick when it first opened. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Scott Macura. Gerri is survived by her son, John (Amber) Macura; brothers, Thomas (Cathy) Rezak and John (Violet) Rezak; grandchildren, Kylee, Andrew and his fiancé Maria, and Madison; and companion, John Macura Sr. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. Parting prayers will be at 9:20 A.M. on Thursday, November 11, 2021, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Margaret Mary Church, Lower Burrell.
