George Randy "Red" Rice, 65, of Sheraden, formerly of New Kensington, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born July 26, 1957, in New Kensington, to the late Deacon George A. and Joyce S. Brooks Rice. Randy worked from 2010 until his passing for Am-Guard Security in Sharpsburg as a security supervisor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Denise R. Van Hook Rice. Randy is survived by his sisters, Bonnie L. Craft and Shirley (William) Kemp Jr.; maternal uncle and aunt, Errol and Sarah Brooks; brother-in-law, Timothy Van Hook; three nephews; five nieces; two great-nephews; and a host of loving cousins and very special friends. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in the JOSEPH J.
