Frank Torok Jr., 91, of New Kensington, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Concordia in Cabot, surrounded by his loving family. He had a selfless heart, was a devoted father and a loving grandfather. Frank was born June 27, 1935, in New Kensington, to the late Frank and Elizabeth Sutts Torok. He was a 1953 graduate of Ken Hi and then served in the US Navy from 1953 to 1956 on the USS Rich. Frank was employed as a machinist with Alcoa, New Kensington and then with Westinghouse EMD until his retirement in 1996. Frank had a deep appreciation for wildlife, enjoyed cultivating flowers and tending his garden, and loved both hunting and fishing. He was also highly skilled in trap shooting and pistol marksmanship. Frank was a member of the NRA and Vandergrift Sportsmens Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Debra Loughner; and brother, Robert “Butch” Torok. Frank is survived by his children, Daniel (Jennifer) Torok, Timothy Torok and Dana (Brian) Naviglia; and granddaughters, Gracie Naviglia and Shelby and Sadie Vaughn. Private burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. Arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, New Kensington. www.cardarofuneralhome.com
