Erik "CORONA" David Smalling, 59, of Upper Burrell, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Thursday, August 29, 2024. He was born April 17, 1965, in Camp Lejune, North Carolina. Corona was a self-employed IT technician. He enjoyed his family, friends, playing guitar, designing graphics and bottle collecting. He was preceded in death by his dad, Dutch Smalling and sister, Stephanie Lorraine Smalling. Corona is survived by his wife, Lisa Yingling; his children, Leeona (Jimi) Smail, Zachary (Jessica) Smalling and Karisa Smalling; his parents Stephanie and Larry Bianco; nine siblings, Jennie, Gina, Emily, Sonja, Dag, Thor, Anya, Dave and Juliet; and 3 grandchildren, Deacon, Wesley and Aurora. Family and friends wiil be received from 2 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 14, 2024, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave. New Kensington, 724-337-3325.
