Elijah Burnell Puryear, 19, of New Kensington, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021, in Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Aug. 22, 2001, in Pittsburgh. He was a 2019 graduate of Valley High School. He loved nature and wildlife. Elijah was an avid soccer fan and was wise beyond his years. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Glenn Lubiano and Robert Jones. Elijah is survived by his father, Walter Puryear; mother, Tonya Jones Brooks; grandmother, Marilyn Lubiano; sister, India Jones; and brother, Isaiah Puryear. Family and friends will be welcome to attend a funeral service at noon Tuesday, April 27, 2021, in the JOSEPH J. CARDARO FUNERAL HOME, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325., with the Rev. Carmen Butler officiating. Burial will be private.
