Edward Leroy Zimmerman, "I'm in good shape for the shape I'm in", 84, of Lower Burrell, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 6, 2022, with his loving family by his side. He was born July 26, 1937, in Natrona Heights, to the late Charles & Stella Stiffy Zimmerman. Edward is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barb Bash Zimmerman; children, Sandy (David) Barr, Russell (Kimberly) Zimmerman, Charles Zimmerman, Stacey (Steven) McDermott, Edward Leroy Zimmerman Jr, Richard (Tracey) Zimmerman, Leroy (Kathy) Bowser, Michael (Joyce) Bowser, and Pamela (Court) Shaner; 25 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 6:00 PM on Monday, January 10, 2022, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave. New Kensington, 724-337-3325. A funeral service will be held immediately following the viewing at 6:00 PM in the funeral home with Reverend Carmen Butler officiating. Burial will be private.
