Diane J. Ballina, 71, of Arnold, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 31, 1949, in New Kensington, to the late Victor and Constance "Connie" Nicastro Premutico. Diane was a graduate of New Ken High School, Class of 1967. She worked as the secretary for the principal at Valley High School for over 20 years. Diane was a member of Mt. St. Peter Catholic Church, New Kensington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Virginia Skacal; and sister, Victoria "Vicky" Petrarca. Diane is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ron Ballina; children, Scott Ballina and Chris Campbell, and Dana and Joe Harclerode; sisters, Joyce (Carl) Pelino and Barb Minik; grandchildren, Ben Campbell and Ethan, Landon, and Sophie Harclerode. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2021, at JOSEPH J. CARDARO FUNERAL HOME, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, PA 15068, 724-337-3325. Parting prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2021, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, New Kensington. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
