Connie Lou Bigley, 87, formerly of New Kensington, died Friday, May 19, 2017, at Tuscany Gardens Assisted Living, Pataskala, Ohio. She was born Feb. 28, 1930, in Tarentum, daughter of William E. and Marie Coyle Young. Connie was a graduate of Tarentum High in the class of 1948. She worked for Koppers in Pittsburgh as a secretary until retiring in 1989. Connie was a previous member of the Parnassus Presbyterian Church and current member of One Purpose Community Church, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John F. Bigley; two sons, Jerry and Jack Bigley; and two sisters, Tamazon Wood and Linda Pontbriand. She is survived by two granddaughters, Christina (Pete) Burnett, of Pataskala, Ohio, and Eran Dauphinee, of Orlando, Fla.; grandson, Christopher Bigley, of Pataskala, Ohio; stepson, Richard A. (Barbara) Bigley; sister, Sandra Dinicola, of Orlando, Fla.; brother, William Young, of New Jersey; great-grandchild, Jordan Imboden, of Pataskala, Ohio; step-great-grandchildren, Cole and Mia; and long time friend and partner, Carmen Sepe. Family and friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, in the JOSEPH J. CARDARO FUNERAL HOME, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Marsha Adams, officiating. Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
