Charles William "Chuck" Stone, 79, of New Kensington, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 14, 1942, in New Kensington, to the late David & Edith Kammerdiner Stone. Chuck was a graduate of Ken-High and was a veteran of the US Army. He worked for 30 years for Allegheny Ludlum, Brackenridge as a Security Guard. Chuck enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and remodeling his home. He loved spending time with his family. Chuck was the center of his family's life; he was their everything. He had a great sense of humor and was a known member of the "Duck Gang". Chuck was a member of Logans Ferry Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Post 48, Natrona Heights. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Renee Stone; brothers, David and Jim Stone; and sisters, Opal Joy and Caroline Mathabel. Chuck is the beloved husband of 57 years to Marlene Chizer Stone; beloved father to Charlene (Charles) Ross; beloved grandfather to Sage and Skylynd-Blu Ross; his dog, D.O.G.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave. New Kensington, 724-337-3325. Additional visitation will be from 11 to 12 Noon on Thursday, June 2, 2022, in the funeral home followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon with Pastor Tim Sweigart officiating. Burial will be private.
