Catherine "Kay" Theresa Scarpiniti, 95, of New Kensington, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in Presbyterian Senior Care, Oakmont. She was born February 7, 1927, in Mt. Braddock, to the late Stanley & Anna Kamon Jarzabek. Kay was employed as a welder during WWII for Alcoa, New Kensington, was a hostess at Churchill Country Club, Penn Hills, and then later worked for Catoris Candies, New Kensington. She was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa, New Kensington, where she was a member of the Christian Mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Scarpiniti, granddaughter, Tina Hall, 4 sisters and 7 brothers. Kay is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann (Donald) Hall; son, Stan Chelednik; grandchildren, Lisa (Gene) Williams, Donald (B.J.) Hall and Pricilla, Stanley Brian and Patti Chelednik; numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
