Betty C. Murray, 80, of Arnold, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, in Belair Nursing and Rehab Center, Lower Burrell. She was born May 17, 1937, in Arnold, daughter of the late George and Mary Singer Birch. Betty was a graduate of Arnold High School, Class of 1955. She enjoyed embroidering, baking and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Robert Murray. She is survived by a son, David Murray; daughter, Mylinda Murray; sister, Sarah (John) Starr; granddaughters, Nicole Murray-Laube and Sara Ray; and great-grandchildren, Samantha and Anthony IV Grogno, Izzabella and Lestat Laube, and Cassidy Ray. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2017, in the JOSEPH J. CARDARO FUNERAL HOME, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. A 7 p.m. memorial service will immediately follow visitation in the funeral home, with the Rev. Carmen Butler officiating. Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
