Bernard George "Bernie" Lapusnak, 87, of Indiana Township, Cheswick, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in his home. He was born April 16, 1938, in Wilkes-Barre to the late Frank & Veronica Kravits Lapusnak. Bernie was a machinist for Westinghouse for many years. He loved playing his accordion, listing to Polka music and tinkering around with his tractors. Bernie was a member of the New Kensington Eagles, Aerie 533. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Yohman Lapusnak; son, Bernard G. Lapusnak Jr.; brothers, Al and Joe; and sister Vernie Banyas. Bernie is survived by his daughter, Valerie Grzywacz; grandson, Corey Grzywacz; sister, Madeline Chinchilla; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave. New Kensington, 724-337-3325.
