Chris David Ploski, 60, of New Kensington, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022, in his home, surrounded by his loving wife. He was born December 24, 1961, in New Kensington, to his late parents, Harry & Jean Robertson Rhine. Chris was a 1980 graduate of Valley High School. He was an Iron Worker with Local Union #527 and then before he became ill, he also worked as a security guard for USS Associates. Chris was a member of New Kensington Fire Department #2 serving as a Safety Officer. The Fire Department was his life. He is a member of New Kensington Eagles, Aerie #533, where he was the past President. He also enjoyed fishing with his friends. Chris is survived by his wife, Emily Tocco Ploski; his German Shepherds and best friends, Willow and Judge; son Chris James (Kelsey Shick) Ploski; grandchildren, Teagan & Tatum; siblings, Carol Logut, Joe (Cheryl) Ploski, Ronald (Roberta) Ploski, Harry (Cindy) Ploski, Denise (Gary) Grzybek and Debra (Doug) Nealer; brothers-in-laws, Guy (Lynn) Tocco and John Illinsky; sister-in-law, Terri (Ron) Glock; and many nieces nephews and friends.
